ST. CROIX RAM LAMBS
Purebred and READY FOR YOUR FALL BREEDING.
St. Croix are EARLY AND PROLIFIC BREEDERS. We've had rams breed as young as four months.
St. Croix are known for their PARASITE RESISTANCE and can increase parasite resistance in your flock. In our experience they are more parasite resistant than other hair (and wool) sheep breeds.
Other benefits of St. Croix: because they are hair sheep, they shed naturally. There's NO NEED FOR SHEARING. Traditionally the tail is left long, so NO NEED FOR TAIL DOCKING. St. Croix produce easily on grass and/or hay, so NO NEED FOR GRAIN. Because we don't dock tails or routinely feed grain there is NO NEED FOR CDT SHOTS.
These rams were born in April 2018. Price is $350 each which includes registration with St. Croix Hair Sheep International Association.
